Personal Information You Disclose to Us
We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you register on the platform, express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and services, or otherwise when you contact us. This includes:
- Full Name and Contact Data (email address, phone number).
- Authentication Data (passwords, social login IDs).
- Payout Data for Creators: We collect your PayFast Merchant ID to facilitate instant split-payment routing.
- Licensee Data: We collect the legal name used for digital signatures to generate valid license certificates.
Payments on FrequenSea are processed via PayFast. We utilize Split Payment Technology.
- We do not store your credit card or bank account details on our servers.
- For creators, your PayFast Merchant ID is shared with PayFast during checkout to route your 100% share directly to your wallet.
- For buyers, your name and email are shared with PayFast to verify the transaction and generate your tax invoice.
As a user in South Africa, you have rights under the Protection of Personal Information Act. These rights include the right to access, correction, and deletion of your data. To exercise these rights, please contact our team at privacy@frequensea.club.
We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures, including 256-bit SSL encryption and secure Firestore rules, designed to protect the security of any personal information we process.
